Williams TF (Top Feed) Shredders are perfect to produce product sizes as small as 2” (50mm) for making dense bales that can be handled with minimum labor and shredder maintenance. Baleable material is prepared in the best possible condition for baling. Feed materials include paper, corrugated, and other thin board materials.
Feed volume of the TF Shredder is regulated by an optional automatic feed control that starts and stops the feeder, depending on the motor load. Capacities range from 5 to 15 TPH and up to 150 HP.
The size of shredded material is closely controlled by heavy duty cage bar grates or round hole screens, which are available with large opening to make large product, or smaller openings for product sizes as small as 1” (25mm).
Maintenance costs are kept minimal by the use of triple cutting edge shredding hammers. Each edge can be turned to compensate for wear and keep edges sharp. The frame and feeder construction are heavy steel plate throughout and arranged for easy access for repairs or adjustments.
